Yes, I got smacked across the mermaid. That was a four out of ten in the intensity scale, and I was NOT wearing thigh armor. Why yes, I am planning on getting a skirt or armor in the near (VERY near) future.
Neckline and shoulder seam. I decided to make the facing turn to the outside, and used a double layer of linen instead of the iron-on interfacing, simply because I thought it was prettier. My running stitches suck, though, so don't look too closely. And yes, I do actually iron while sewing. You can tell on the right side of the photo.
