soldiergrrrl: (Yay!)

One, my grandmother, who was in the hospital after a heart attack, is fine.  She is going home tomorrow.

Two, I got the "official" notification of my promotion.  Seven to nine was a nice jump.

Three, started thinking about my medic character for the WWW3 game Andy is running.

Four, making plans to make garb.

Not so good thing:

Had a uterine biopsy.  We'll see what the results are next week.

OH! I'm sorry. I was replying by email so I didn't see the comment had been deleted. :-)

:) You are correct, if she were talking about Army rank. She's actually referring to her civilian pay grade promotion, so there she's still Mrs. ;)

(Soldiergrrl: Unless they call you SGT at work due to wearing the uniform all the time?)

I do actually wear the uniform, but I get paid at a GS grade.

Ok, thanks. I couldn't remember if you wear the uniform and go by SGT all the time or just some of the time. Thanks for the clarification. :)

I = dork. My brain first (and rather insistently) translated that as Seven of Nine.. but anyway, grats!

Good thoughts an warm fuzzys an luck and all that other stuff on the biopsy. I had a hyst nearly 7 years ago now, as the solution for my cervix refusing to 'play nice'.

I read seven of nine, too, and I knew what she was talking about, if it makes you feel better. ;)

GS, I gather, or equivalent, on the promotion? Congrats, however it is.

Good luck on the biopsy. We will most definitely keep you in our thoughts, given Kelly's past history on that front.

Congrats on the promotion. Fingers are crossed and prayers loaded into forward tubes 1 and 4 on the medical stuff. Two people in one household... that seems like a lot of biopsies for one group of people.
