Started badly and only got worse from there.

To wit:

I was hoping to find out today if it's repairable or not.  *sigh*

I'm okay, I'm already seeing a doc for ouchies and sore muscles and I've cried my head off a few times.  This was a present from John, the first car bought for me because he simply thought it would make me happy.  Not because it was practical, not because it was a "good" idea, but because he knew I wanted one, and it makes him happy to make me happy.

If I haven't said it, my life rocks and I have the most amazing amount of love in my life.

Ouch! As long as you're OK, the rest is gravy.

I'm glad you're okay. Hopefully the car is repairable, but even if it's not, you still have the man whose love it represents.

Hey, I'm married to one of those guys, too! Our lives rock. Glad you're in one piece.

I really hope they can fix it, but better the car is irreparable than you. Glad you're okay.

Yes, I told her the pony more than did it's job, it got her from place to place safely, made her feel loved every time she got in it thanks to the love it was given to her with, and it kept her SAFE.
Pony more than did it's job, and for that, if she needs to be put to pasture, at least she did that protecting the givers most cherished item it carried inside

=)

*hugs you gently* I'm sure John would rather the car be wrecked than *you* be wrecked.

Oh, bummer about the car - but that can be replaced. What's important here is that you are ok - because you can't be replaced.

Looks like hydroplaning from the picture, and it looks like the car did it's job admirably well. Which was to keep you safe and comfortable in an unsafe world. The Pony is fixable, but it will probably be more economical and practical to replace it.

Good to hear you are OK, that means the week has opportunities to get better.

Actually, a Dodge full-size pickup hit me at my driver's front quarter panel and spun me 180 degrees. :(

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

I am so sorry for the horror that unfolded (literally) for you. The vehicle is replaceable; you are not, and we are all collectively thankful you are still with us on this mortal coil.

Having had the pleasure of meeting you in person, I can only say that John is an unbelievably blessed guy. Thank goodness for insurance, and thank God that you will heal. I went through an accident of equal proportions last month, and call myself lucky to walk away from it intact, so I feel your pain on this.

You do rock -- never let anyone tell you otherwise! *hugs*

The car wasn't rolled, you're all in one piece. It's good. Things can be fixed, people, not so easily.

Where we live all you would need is a roll of duck tape. After that it would fit in. Also some plastic for a window and red tape for the turn signals.

There is a little known level of hell for people who do bad things to Ponys. For every Pony they wreck, they have to drive a Yugo for a year... Fitting punishment for DodgeBoy, no? (Glad you're intact.)

Heeee! I LIKE that! And really, I'm glad I'm okay too. The Pony, as much as I love her, can be fixed or replaced. Me? I'm a one-off model. ;-)

I'll jst echo what everyone else said: glad you are OK, cars can be replaced, it's the man behind the car not the car itself... etc etc etc.

And I'll add that I hope your week improves drastically and that you get a sweet rental car to ride around in.

Good grief! stop paying attention to LJ for a couple of days and...

Still, very glad to know you're ok. Much as we love our cars, the people in them are far more important.
