Went out on the bike Friday afternoon, for a fairly long ride, at least for as new as I am, it was long.  I did pretty well I think, considering it was windy and I managed to go south when I meant to go north...

I'm really pleased the ride went well, as I'd have seriously had to look at keeping the bike if it hadn't.  Now, I'm anxious to actually get out there more, and ride!  Liam and I went on a ride to benefit ALS research yesterday, and it was a blast.  I'm glad I was the passenger, as I don't think I've got the skill to go on a two hour ride that ended up in the middle of downtown Austin.  We had a police escort, but still...formation turns?  Not my strong suit yet.

The Harley dealer was definitely willing to take the Bimers in on trade although I'm NOT dropping $18k on a bike any time soon, no matter how much I like the Rocker C.

Glad you are getting wind in your face. I have been drooling over Can-Ams lately....I cannot do anything but a three wheeler - my equilibrium 'Just Ain't There'....and neither are the knees...

My ideal would be a Yamaha Majesty trike....but I would have to buy it here and take it to CO to be redone.....and I need to win the lottery first.

Glad you are out having fun. If you every do get that Harley, let me know how the polished aluminum finish on the Triple clamps holds up. I can't believe it would hold up to bug impacts long enough to justify how picky Harley is about the appearance of the ones we make for them.
